Shipping Rates/Options

Shipping prices are calculated during the checkout process based on the weight of the combined items and the destination zip code. All computer shipments include insurance and require signature upon delivery. For more information about computer purchases, please see Buffalo Chip Terms & Conditions.

Deliveries are not made on Saturday's or Sunday's. Please note that UPS and FedEx cannot deliver to PO Boxes. UPS is the preferred shipping method.

Please include a phone number as it is required for FedEx.

Properly completed orders will be shipped according to service guidelines. Orders are properly completed after credit card authorizations are obtained and shipping address is confirmed. The CU Book Store reserves the right to hold any order suspected of fraud. Orders that cannot be properly completed shall be cancelled and affected customers will be notified.

All orders are shipped from Boulder, CO 80309.


UPS and US Postal Service Ground Service

Orders will be delivered in 10 business days (based on the UPS Ground service guarantee). A business day is Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. The US Postal Service does not guarantee delivery of any package or parcel. If you require your order to be delivered sooner, please consider using other shipping alternatives listed above.


FedEx Next Day

Properly completed orders received prior to 5 p.m. MST will be processed by the next business day. A business day is Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Customers can expect delivery 1 business day after the order is shipped. Therefore, it is estimated that customers will receive orders in 1-2 business days.


Refunds on Shipping Charges

If you received incorrect merchandise, or if you received a damaged product, we will refund shipping charges to your credit card. For shipping charge refunds without a receipt, you must provide the original order number.


Order Pick up Options

Please allow approximately 48 hours (M-F 8-6) from the time you made your order for it to be processed. WE WILL SEND A CONFIMATION EMAIL WHEN YOUR ORDER IS READY TO BE PICKED UP. Please bring a printed copy of the email, and a picture ID to the customer service desk. In store pick-up requires that you pick up your order within 14 business days after receiving the confirmation email. Orders not picked up within the allotted time are subject to a 10% re-stocking fee. If your order is for electronics, please pick it up in our computer department. We appreciate your business!

Heavy or Oversize Items

Shipping rates and delivery times vary for some products. Items requiring special shipping are noted as such within their individual descriptions.


Tracking your order

You will receive a tracking number at the email address you provided when you placed your order. Use this number to track your shipment on the UPS or FedEx web site.


International Ordering Instructions

Unfortunately our website does not accept international ordering at this time. Please call (800) 255-9168 during business hours (GMT – 07:00) to order over the telephone. We apologize for any inconvenience, and are working toward offering international ordering on our site in the near future. *Please do not send any credit card information via email.
