The goal of our rental programs is to provide our customers with an additional
cost-saving option for their textbook purchases.
- Come into the store and one of the knowledgeable staff in our Textbook
department will be eager to help you. After finding an eligible book, proceed to any of our cashiers and
prior to beginning the check-out process, let them know which books you want to
rent.
- Enter your course schedule
on our web site. If your book can be rented, a rental option will be available.
- If you find that some of your books do not have a rental option through our
store, you can check availability through our affiliate site. You will
need to type in information to find your book; we highly recommend using
your book’s ISBN number, which can be found on your course’s book listing page.
Not exactly. We have an
affiliate rental program so that we can offer a wider
selection of rentals. Prices and terms may be different. Any problems or issues
occurring in the online rental process (cancellations, dropped courses; etc.)
must be handled through the online site. However, once the online portion is
processed and a shipping label has been generated for returns at the end of the
rental period, we will be happy to help by shipping the order from our store.
Come into the store and one of the knowledgeable staff in our Textbook
department will be eager to help you. If you’re a do-it-yourself sort of person,
rentable titles are clearly marked on their information tag with a green
“Rental” sticker. After finding an eligible book, proceed to any of our cashiers
and prior to beginning the check-out process, let them know which books you want
to rent.
We are now working on technical issues that will make it possible.

A customer who brings back a book too damaged to re-sell (water damage,
pages falling out, binding ripped, etc.) must pay the full replacement cost of
the book, which is the used price.
This is in addition to any rental fees they have already paid. For the penalty,
we always charge the credit card used to rent the book, which may be their
parents’ credit card.
Yes. Just come into the store and we’ll charge you the difference between the
rental price and the full retail price. You will pay the same as if you simply
bought the book in the first place.
Rentals are due back the same semester they are rented. Rental textbooks are due on commencement, which is the day after finals are
over. The exact date of the deadline will be printed on your textbook rental
agreement.
A customer who does not return a rental book by the due date must pay the
full replacement cost of the book, which is the
used price. This is in addition to any rental fees they have already
paid. If students miss the deadline, they should still bring the book back and see a store manager. We always
charge the credit card used to rent the book, which may be their parents’ credit
card.
Yes. Simply print out your return paperwork and shipping label through the web
site and bring the label and your books to our Textbook department and we will
ship them for you.
