Juan Pablo Dabove

Juan Pablo Dabove is an assistant professor and associate chair of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Colorado at Boulder. His research includes Postcolonial Latin American Literature and Culture, in particular the cultural representation of the diverse forms of peasant insurgency labeled banditry. He is the author of the book Nightmares of the Lettered City: Banditry and Literature in Latin America, 1816-1929. Dabove also edited Jorge Luis Borges: Politicas de la literature, Y todo el resto es literatura: ensayos sobre Osvaldo Lamborghini, and Heterotropias, marrativas de identidad y alteridad latinoamericana.
