Placing a pre-order if already registered for classes

  1. After reading these instructions Click the “Pre-Order Textbooks” button at the botom of this page
  2. At the top of the next page, click the link to enter your IdentiKey and pull in your enrolled course information. Proceed to log in using your IdentiKey.
  3. Your full class list will appear in the column on the right of the page. You can now review this information and make desired changes.
  4. To remove a class, mouse over the class you want to remove and click the “X” button that appears – this will delete the class from your list.
  5. To add an additional class, that maybe you are on the waiting list for and are not yet enrolled, use the “Add a Course” tool on the left hand side of the page.
    1. First choose the department your course is in from the “Department” box. Once selected, all available courses will appear in the “Course” box.
    2. Choose the course number you wish to order books for. Once selected, all available sections for that course will appear in the “Section” box.
    3. Choose the section of the course you wish to order books for. Once selected, the course will automatically appear in your course list on the right hand side of the page.
  6. Once you are comfortable with your course list, click on the “Choose Pre-Order Options” button at the bottom right of the page.
  7. At this point, you will need to make 2 decisions regarding your order:
    1. You must choose Required materials only, or required plus optional materials
      • Required materials are everything your professor says are required to take their class
      • Optional materials are items that may help you in the class, or enhance your learning experience in some way. These items can include study guides, practice problems or optional reading materials.
    2. You must choose the type of course materials you wish to receive (New, Used, New Rental or Used Rental). This is done on the bottom of the page by ranking the materials in the order you wish to receive them.
      • Choose the type of book you want most, and place a “1” in that box. Continue down the line until you have filled out all 4 boxes. The type of material you want least should have a “4” in the box.
      • All boxes must be filled out, as some course materials are sometimes only available in one of the formats.
      • By default, the boxes are filled out in the cheapest configuration, with Used Rental books as “1” and New Books as “4”.
      • We will fill all orders solely based on your preferences. If you choose Used Rental books as your first preference, we will try our best to give you all Used Rental books, if available.
  8. Once you have chosen your pre-order options, choose to “Continue” at the bottom right of the page. This will add your pre-order to your cart.
  9. The price of the pre-order will come up as TBD – the price information will be emailed to you at a later date, once we have all of the course information from your professors.
  10. At this point, create and account and complete the checkout process!
